IT Business Analyst - Large Projects Legal & Sourcing

What's the role?

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to support all Legal and Sourcing related IT projects and solutions, working towards achieving our vision of a seamless, connected and SAP based IT landscape for Large Project business at Hilti. Become part of our Global IT Large Projects Legal & Sourcing team and contribute to the digital future of Hilti. Develop and maintain together with international colleagues the processes and IT solutions on and around our leading edge SAP S/4 HANA environment (main solutions: SAP EPD, DMS).You will strongly contribute to one of our core initiatives out of our new corporate strategy shaping the future towards “Making Construction Better”.

What does the role involve?

Our tool chain centred around our SAP solutions like SAP EPD and SAP DMS supports amongst others our business units in developing individually engineered and innovative products that provide superior value to our customers. As an IT Business Analyst, you work within agile & cross-functional Global IT and business teams to define requirements as well as develop convincing solution scenarios. You plan, build, and run the IT solutions that are used to develop our innovative customer-specific offerings. This includes contribution to IT solution architectures and designs, custom development, and successful delivery of IT projects. You ensure reliability, integrity, and long-term sustainability of our IT solutions and processes. This role requires a combination of a business-oriented mindset and solid implementation skills.

What you need is:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or in a related field (PhD is a plus)
  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience in IT (SAP), Manufacturing and/or Logistics
  • Experience in Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 is a plus (Knowledge in industrial communications & automation)
  • Experience in Logistics processes and system solutions is a plus (e.g. planning)
  • Willingness to work closely with business counterparts and good stakeholder management & communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial attitude – taking responsibility in understanding topics, owning them, and delivering success
  • Product/Project Management – experience in managing multiple projects and initiatives in your area in a portfolio way as well as end-to-end project delivery experience
  • Skills in manging product related topics like backlog, budget, vendors, externals and internal resources
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), German is a plus
