Senior Data Scientist (H/F) – CDI
What's the role?
As a senior data scientist, you will be responsible for building models/tools that improve marketing efforts of Hilti globally. You will collaborate with business to provide technical guidance to a team of data scientists on advanced analytics models.

What does the role involve?
You will apply your strong expertise of advanced analytics techniques (e.g., machine-learning) to design, prototype, and build solutions. You will ensure frequent communication with other stakeholders to drive use case solution with business focus and manage expectations on possibilities and lead times. You will develop best practices for analytics (models, standards, tools) and share learnings with peers.

What you need is:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics with 5+ years experience in a statistical and/or data science role; Hands on experience working as Data Scientist with cross functional teams.
- Expertise in advanced analytical techniques such as descriptive statistics, machine learning, optimization, pattern recognition, cluster analysis, segmentation analysis, etc.
- Experience of statistical analysis tools and languages, e.g., Python, R, Matlab, SAS, experience working with large data sets & distributed computing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark); Fluency in a scripting or computing language.
- Fluency in English
