What's the role?

A Marketing Automation Technical Architect owns an assigned portfolio of digital marketing journeys, being responsible for solution design, implementation and maintenance. What does the role involve?

Support concept and requirements definition, solution design, configuration and testing of marketing technology solutions (e.g. journeys consisting of e-mails, leads, tasks, contact forms) to better market on multiple channels and automate email, lead and tasks creation.
- Provide quick feedback on feasibility of business requirements
- Define based on input of business counterparts and technological architecture of Hilti the required solution design
- Implement the solution design and in coordination with QA test of the developed solution before deployment into production
- Implement change requests and improvements which further enhance impact of the journeys.

With Engagement Marketing we are actively reshaping the concepts of marketing and sales at Hilti in the future. And if it were not enough, this will all happen from a newly established global Digital Marketing and sales team, located in a new best-in-class office in Paris/ Boulogne-Billancourt (full relocation in 2019).

What you need is:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing automation technology
  • Previous experience using marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud highly preferred)
  • Rich experience with Journey builder, Automation studio (including at least medium SQL skills), E-mail studio (including dynamic content blocks & AMP Script usage)
  • Work experience from medium/ large-scale international projects
  • Strong self-management and reliability
  • Fundamental understanding of digital marketing tactics
  • A practical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks or projects
